Choosing games to play with absolute beginners is quite a challenge as you want zero learning curve  but enough enjoyments to make them wan to play more.

Flip 7 – the perfect push your luck game is easy to pick up with the only decision to make is do you hit and take another card or stick.

Just one – a wonderful co=op party game so you’re in it together as you try and think of a one word clue – easy!

Carcassonne – again little or none decision making.   pick a tile and play it to either build a road or a castle.  Let’s save the farmers till later.

Horrified – I love this simple co-op game.  work together to defeat monsters.   This is always a hit.
